Electricity

Please note that electrical service varies by RV parking area:
J.S. Bridwell Spots: 30-amp service with standard, non-GFCI breakers.
Grass RV Spots near Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall: 30-amp service with standard, non-GFCI breakers.
Concrete RV Parking Area – A Spots: 50-amp service with GFCI-protected breakers.
Concrete RV Parking Area – B Spots: 30-amp service with GFCI-protected breakers.
Important: The 50-amp and 30-amp electrical connections in the concrete RV parking area are GFCI-protected as required by electrical code. If your RV has an electrical wiring issue or compatibility issue that causes a ground fault, connecting to a GFCI-protected outlet may cause the breaker to trip.

If your RV has previously experienced issues with GFCI-protected electrical service, please be aware of this before reserving a concrete RV space. We recommend having your RV’s electrical system inspected by a qualified RV technician or electrician if you have concerns about compatibility.

Please make sure your RV is compatible with the electrical service provided at your selected space before connecting.

Water

All RV spots by Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall have water hookups.

RV Spot Dimensions

All grass RV spots by Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall are 15′ x 45′. All Concrete RV spots are 20′ x 33′.

FAQ

Reservations

RV Spots are only available for nights during an MPEC event. They are reserved first come, first serve for most events. Events like Hotter’N Hell 100 the RV spots are reserved online.

How to reserve RV spot

To reserve your RV space, visit the MPEC Box Office located inside the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall.

Rate

Cost: $75/night for a 50 amp site and $40/night for a 30 amp site. There is a two-night minimum.

Dump Station

The closest dump station to the RV spots is the Wichita Bend RV Park located at 300 Central Freeway (I-44 at Texas Travel Information Exit). The dump station is located at the south end of the park.
